Why is ATEP a good choice?
ATEP trains you under hand-picked host employers. In addition there are numerous theoretical skills that you will learn at Tafe during the apprenticeship.
The host employers selected by us help you to gain the required expertise in areas such as sprinkler installation, plant selection, pesticide application, fertilizing, sod layering and irrigation. Throughout the apprenticeship, on hand training is provided in areas like greenhouse production, irrigation, basic surveying, botany, nursery production, golf course maintenance, horticultural marketing and many more.
At ATEP limitations are limited
At ATEP limitations for taking up an apprenticeship are few. Outside of each job’s specific requirements, we take on juniors (under 21 years of age) and adults (over 21 years of age), with or without prior experience, having completed year 12 or not, as long as they are committed to the trade and to a 3 to 4 year apprenticeship.
We won’t forget you after placing you with the right host employer, on the contrary we will monitor your progress and collect information from the host employer and training organization about your training. This will ensure you are at the required level at all times, and we will adjust your employment as required,in order that you qualify and become an above average trades person with exceptional skills.

ATEP is a recognized institution which is working on a non-profit basis. We act as a platform between the employees who want to undergo training and the host employers.
