A position has become available for a 1st year Electronics and Communications Apprentice in a well-established business based in Mulgrave to commence ASAP.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and committed to finishing their Apprenticeship gaining a Certificate III in Electronics and Communication.
Applicants will be hardworking, reliable and committed to learning.
Work will be undertaken in Mulgrave. Previous apprentices have successfully completed certificate III/IV in electronics and; as a result of exposure to high end telecommunications test equipment have consistently achieved high distinctions in TAFE studies.

Tasks will include: Primarily involved in the testing and calibration of high-end telecommunications equipment including: signal generators: spectrum and network analysers; frequency and time measuring instruments; multimeters; and, oscilloscopes, over the range of DC to 50 GHz. Additionally, you will diagnose breakdowns in electronics and communications equipment.
Exposure to physical, dimensional, and, temperature measurements may be included.
A national police check is required of the successful applicant.
This is a full-time position to which Award Wages Apply. On and off the job training will be provided.
