If you are committed to securing meaningful employment, gaining valuable training both on the job and of the job (Tafe) to achieve an industry recognised qualification, why not start or continue an Apprenticeship or Traineeship?
How to apply for an Apprenticeship or Traineeship with ATEP?
Have you checked the Search for Jobs link?
ATEP vacancies are advertised on line: click on the link and send us your resume.
If your application is suitable for the position we will ask you to come to our office to complete a pre-employment and aptitude assessment, which includes some testing and a preliminary interview.
From there, if you are successful, you will be placed with a host employer and signed up at Tafe or with an appropriate RTO. You will however, be employed by ATEP; we will take care of your pay, work cover, super, etc… and you will be assigned to an Employment Services Consultant who will regularly follow your progress every 3 months and ensure you are “on course”.
If there are no vacancies in your trade, email or fax us your application and we will add you to our database in case something suitable comes up.
If you are still at Secondary School, talk to your Careers Teacher or your VET / VCAL Coordinator about doing a School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT).
