Dean Luciani
Chief Executive Officer

Dean commenced his career as an apprentice before combining work and ongoing study to move into quality systems and management.  Dean holds various management qualifications and has served on a number of Boards in the Education and Health sectors over the last ten years.

With a specific interest in quality systems, corporate governance and risk management, Dean is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and Chair of the Apprenticeship Employment Network (AEN) Industry Association.

With over 20 years’ experience within the Vocational Education and Training Sector, in both Metropolitan and Regional areas, Dean is a strong believer in quality governance, underpinned by quality systems.

Wayne Robertson
Chief Operating Officer

Wayne commenced his career as an apprentice working in the Meat Retailing Industry.  Wayne joined Westvic Staffing Solutions in 2004 as a Group Training Field Officer in our Colac and Corangamite sites.  Wayne progressed to Manager of our Group Training department in 2007 where he has overseen the growth of this area to now be recognised as the largest employer of apprentice and trainees in south west Victoria.

In 2017 Wayne was appointed Apprenticeship Employment – Network Operations Manager.  Wayne has created strong networks with key industry stakeholders in our region, and driven a number of innovative strategies that have created both opportunity and growth for the organisation.

David Bell
General Manager, ATEP

Mr David Bell, General Manager ATEP  has held senior management roles for the past 20 years with twelve of those spent in the training and employment sectors.  Coupled with academic learnings in Bachelor of commerce and majors in commercial law and accounting David has a strong focus on strategic planning and innovative thinking. Based in south-east metro David has built strong relationships with key stakeholders. 

Leanne Parker
General Manager Central Highlands Region

Leanne’s career is diverse with a combined span of 40 years in administration and management working in the retail, mining, wine, retail and education and training sectors.

Enhanced with education in management, human resources, marketing and vocational training & assessment she has managed an Australian Apprenticeship Centre, Labour Hire and recruitment division and private registered Training organisation with her current charter to management employment services of our Ballarat site.  Leanne currently resides on two boards; Eventide Homes Inc. (Aged Care): Board member and Chair of the Governance Committee and is on the Central Highlands LLEN Board.

Working in both Metropolitan and Regional areas, Leanne’s significant experience in leadership and operations coupled with strategic innovation will provide opportunities for the organisation in the next phase of growth.

Brendan Hawkins
Apprenticeship Employment Network Divisional Manager

Brendan commenced his working career as an auto technician, after 17 years he was ready for a change and commenced working with Westvic Staffing Solutions as an Australian Apprenticeships Support Network Field Officer.

Brendan progressed to Manager within this department which has since led to various roles and is today the Apprenticeship Employment Network Operations Manager.

Damien Clark
Chief Financial Officer

Damien commenced his career after studying at Deakin University in Warrnambool working as a graduate accounting in regional Victoria. He gained experience working within the tax and audit fields. From there he specialised in computer accounting packages such as MYOB and Quickbooks. After 7 years in the accounting firm Damien moved to outback South Australia to take up a role within local government as Finance Manager.

The role looked at all parts of the business including electricity and water supply, community services, road building, airport security and governance.

After being away from the south coast for 20 years Damien and his family made the move back to Warrnambool and is thrilled to take up the role of CFO for Westvic Staffing Solutions.

Michael Bellamy
Industry Mentoring Safety and Quality Services Divisional Manager

Michael has an extensive history in Human Resource Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Assurance Management.  Today Michael brings in excess of 25 years’ knowledge and experience in the development and progress of our industry.  Along with his HR and OHS background Michael has been instrumental in establishing quality management systems and obtaining ISO accreditation.
