What is it?
The Scholarship Foundation assists vocational students and their families
ATEP is a well-established, not for profit, community based organisation with a strategic commitment to better support our community and a strong youth focus in the following Local Government areas:
Cities of Melbourne, Bayside, Port Phillip, Stonnington, Glen Eira, Kingston, Monash, Greater Dandenong, Casey and Mornington Peninsula Shire.
ATEP has annual scholarships; open to students in secondary schools within the Local Government areas listed above who as part of their VCE or VCAL studies are planning to undertake a vocational option.
The scholarships are open to individual students who are in need of financial support and wish to undertake vocational studies in one of the following programs:
- Vocational Education & Training in School Program (VETs)
- Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL)
- School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs)
Students are able to pursue their studies in areas ranging from Building & Construction, Sports & Recreation, Digital Media, Community Services, to Engineering and Equine Industry.
Who should apply?
Individual students can apply for one off financial assistance of up to 500$ for the school year; applications are usually open from the 4th term of the school year to February of the following year.
Students who are seeking access to a vocational program but are unable to do so because of financial or personal circumstances, are encouraged to apply.
Schools are requested to endorse each application before on forwarding to ATEP, applications will be considered on the basis of demonstrated need for financial support.
